Households across NSW are already trying to get on top of their energy use. They are switching off appliances, adjusting how and when they use power, and looking for ways to take control of rising bills.

The Energy Security Corporation (ESC) is supporting the delivery of the NSW Government's Home Energy Saver loan program, a major new initiative expected to help around 32,000 households invest in energy saving home upgrades and deliver an estimated $766 million in household benefits.

The NSW Energy Security Corporation (ESC) will invest $100 million in the rollout of a large-scale battery platform across Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter Central Coast to strengthen electricity reliability as coal-fired power stations age and retire.
